Crowds gather near the Eiffel Tower in Paris to take part in one of a series of demonstrations around the world to protest against the kidnappings by Colombian rebel forces. And their rally had the star guest, Ingrid Betancourt. The Franco Colombian politician, recently released after six years of captivity, came on stage to a hero's welcome. She gave an impassioned plea for freedom.
